Lamps Made Out of Repurposed Vinyl.

Did you ever wonder where all of the vinyl go after they left the garage sale? Yes, we know...we always have wondered too. I think this product launch by Vinylize will help put all of our minds at ease:

"Budapest-based design studio Vinylize just launched a new lamp with a shade made from a repurposed vinyl record. The lamp is made from aluminum, and its cable, switch and plug hark back to the old days of quality through the use of bakelite and woven fibers. The lamp can be clamped to almost any surface, and it’s designed to be used with modern LED bulbs. The Vinylize lamp will be available to the public once it passes CE testing" states Inhabitat.
